Genre Spotlight: Chill Trap

Lots of people shy away from the idea of trap music, and I can't blame them. Trap at it's best can be annoying and very musically disrupting. But chill trap on the other hand, one of the many sub genres of electronic, is something that flows well and is something you can groove to. Hopefully the music does the talking on this one, and you are convinced not by my words, but by the melodies themselves.  Here are a few of the great chill trap artists.

Phazz

LeMove

Dr. Fresch

Chiefs

Daktyl

Some of these artists are just regular trap artists who dabble in the genre (mainly Chiefs), but they are all capable of producing some smooth grooves.
